Teaching English aims to develop the pupils’ underlying competencies such as – grammatical, discourse, sociolinguistics, and strategic competence. The pupils are encouraged to speak in English with confidence and with respect following an honor code in using English as their language in their daily communication, preparing them to be globally competitive individuals who can be future leaders and can express themselves confidently. The subject area provides unique, innovative teaching-learning process, contents, and end results providing a venue for the pursuit of excellence in academics.
